Starwberry Facts

Did you know that the strawberry that you eat is neither a fruit nor a berry? It is actually the enlarged receptacle of the flower! One serving of a strawberry is about 20% RDA of folic acid, which is more per comparable serving than any other fruit. This folic acid helps reduce birth defects involving brain and nerve disorders.



For me, I considered strawberries as one of the most delicious and nutritious fruits. Strawberries are sodium- free and fat- free food, based on a study and according to FDA regulations. Aside from the fact that they are cholesterol free, they are also low in calories.
